As a part of the large-scale sewerage system improvements in Lei Yue Man Village, the manhole covers are revamped into easy-to-read and playful graphical symbols referencing ancient Chinese maps. The graphics depicts various identifiable and symbolic elements in the immediate context ranging from water, carp and ferry, gateway and light tower to quarry landscape.
