Rainbow painted on the golden sky fell on a family of shapes and became these iridescent drapes.

The Drapes is a family of “soft” folded brass furniture designed out of “hard” flat sheets of metal. The 2D surfaces become 3D objects that are sculptural, structural and functional. Through careful molding, heating and hammering by the hands of local metal craftsman Mr. Li, the iridescence on the metal happens as the metal reacts with the heating and cooling in the production process to soften the metal at different temperatures.
