The new headquarter is inspired by traditional Chinese wooden box which shift-opened in sections to create 4 different boxes of differentiated porosity, height and layout that address the highly customised yet diverse inner structures of contemporary modes of working.

Composed out of a uniform 3x3m orthogonal grid, the plans of the 4 levels present themselves as totally different identities. Storey-height of each level also changes according to the type of layout and programme. Users are entitled to pick their optimal work setting according to their mode of works and moods. Instead of being empty to be flexible, new workspaces should be well-equipped to be diverse and thus possible to merge with different programs.
