As an extension of Samson Young’s exhibition in M+ Pavilion ‘Songs for Disaster Relief’, the pop-up store is a green room for a fictional performer running through the whole exhibition which could be interpreted as a stage.

Retrofitting a typical green room into the curved corner space of M+ Pavilion and completed with a number of unusual colors on surfaces and blocks, the pop-up store presents itself as an out-of-place entity reimagined from the fictional performer’s world.
