How well do human share the planet with other species? How could cities accommodate not just for human needs but also for other beings’ needs? Regenerative design in architecture suggests thinking of building materials not just as components to build a structure, but as nutrients that contribute to the building’s ecosystem, and to our wellbeing, too.
Bee Hotel Signage is an experimental project which tries to demonstrate design should not only fulfil the needs of human but also other beings. Using street furniture as a start, signage integrated with nests for solitary bees. Bee hotel signage will then be erected in the exhibition venue, which arouse public attention to our urban ecology.
