The ALPS x LEFA Office embodies a minimalist yet refined aesthetic, creating a harmonious balance between functionality and elegance. The design seeks to strip the space of superfluous ornamentation, focusing instead on purposeful details and materials that define spaces with quiet sophistication.

To evoke both modernity and warmth, the material palette is thoughtfully curated, combining soft off-whites and understated greys with natural ash wood, delicate milky glass, and the fine texture of concrete. Upon entering, the foyer’s centerpiece is a sliding wall clad in ash wood veneer, which seamlessly integrates the office’s logo and features a recessed door handle. This element is not only functional but also sets the tone for the understated elegance that permeates the space.

The architectural language respects the original framework of the office building while reinterpreting it with subtle interventions. The standardized false ceiling modules have been retained but rearranged to align with the new spatial layout, preserving a connection to the building’s origins. Meanwhile, the generic office carpet has been replaced with a sleek, self-leveling concrete floor featuring a gentle marbling effect, celebrating the organic beauty of the material. In contrast, the main conference room introduces a subtle richness through a feature wood ceiling and a grey carpet adorned with soft gradients and patterns to enhance the visual and acoustic experience.

Light and transparency are pivotal to the design philosophy. The main office area is thoughtfully divided into two zones: a casual pantry space for informal gatherings and an open desk area for work. These zones are delineated by a simple yet effective ash wood screen, which provides a sense of separation while maintaining an uninterrupted visual connection across the space to the exterior façade. This interplay of openness and defined boundaries enhances the flow of natural light, fostering an atmosphere of clarity and calm.
