Recognising the photo collection as a curated ‘album’ of Zhou Xuan’s dramatic life, the spatial translation results in an accordion photo book. The spaces will be experienced as pages of her life flipped through in chapters, where one can ‘walk into’ and learn through the collection.

Situated within the 120 sqm space, zonings are divided ambiguously in terms of various display methods and mediums, ranging from tiny photos in vitrines, actual framed photos, large digital printouts to moving images, visitors experience the photo collection via a sundry of scales and ways of interpretation.
